Dog Training Academy

The dog is brought to our facility for a period of one to three weeks. While the dog stays with us he is treated as one of our dogs and as such spends most of his time with the trainer. The trainer takes the dog out into the community to train the dog in every possible situation to ensure that they understand that distractions do not mean they can ignore their training.

The dog is also given the opportunity, if possible, to interact with our dogs and family. As the dog progresses in the training, the owner is invited to participate in their dog's training, if they choose. Upon completion of the training, our trainer will begin training the family on how to handle their newly trained dog. In-kennel training is highly effective and perfect for people who are to busy to commit to a full-time training program. It is also the best method for dealing with behavioral issues such as inappropriate aggression. We also offer protection training and home-guard as in-kennel training but these dogs must be screened by our trainer before training commences.
